Opis

One stormy night, a girl arrives at the castle door, soaked from the rain, claiming to be a princess. The queen is skeptical and decides to test her. She places a single pea on the bed frame, covers it with twenty mattresses and twenty featherbeds, and invites the girl to sleep there.

By morning, the girl is exhausted. She explains that she couldn’t sleep because something hard in the bed bruised her. Her sensitivity proves to the queen that she must indeed be a true princess — only someone of royal delicacy could feel a tiny pea through so many layers.
