Find, Write and Customize GroovesSeveral workflow options make it easier to create the right rhythm. Users can browse the included MIDI library, tap a pattern into Tap2Find or write a beat from scratch with the Grid Editor and step sequencer. Existing grooves can be adjusted by changing their timing, velocity, complexity and instrumentation, helping each performance fit the character of the song.

Professionally Recorded Drum SoundsThe core sound library includes seven drum kits alongside additional kicks, snares, cymbals and traditional percussion instruments. Recorded at Hansa Studios by producer and engineer Michael Ilbert, the library is designed to cover styles ranging from singer-songwriter productions and classic pop to modern rock and hip-hop. Mix-ready presets provide polished starting points for different genres and production approaches.

Arrange and Mix Inside the SoftwareThe integrated Song Track allows grooves, fills and song sections to be arranged directly within EZdrummer 3. Drum parts can be shortened, extended, copied and reorganized as the composition develops. Mixer presets and sound controls also make it possible to shape the drum mix before routing the result into a digital audio workstation.

Flexible Studio and Electronic Drum IntegrationEZdrummer 3 can operate as standalone software or as a plugin in compatible music production applications. It supports major plugin formats and includes dedicated features for electronic drum kits, such as mapping presets and response settings.
